Jose's big putt down for Shev
When fans asked where the £30.8million flop was before Sunday’s crunch match with Arsenal, Mourinho responded by mimicking a GOLF SWING.
And as supporters roared with laughter the grinning Blues boss, 44, performed a second air-shot.
Mourinho was furious after ex AC Milan star Shevchenko, 30, pulled out of the Champions League semi-final with Liverpool four days earlier. Despite his huge reputation the £121,000-a-week striker — once European Footballer of the Year — has scored just FOUR Premiership goals. Mourinho’s gag came at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium before the match. He was with chief executive Peter Kenyon, previously boss at Manchester United. One fan shouted: “Kenyon, do you wish you’re at Man United now?” Another asked: “Jose, where’s superstar Shevchenko?” Fan Zach Rowe, 19, of Sandy, Beds — who filmed the gag on his mobile phone — said: “It was a great bit of banter. “We asked Mourinho about Shevchenko and he pulled off the pretend swing. “We cheered and he did it again. He’s a true showman.” Shevchenko is expected to leave Chelsea and return to Italy.
