United aces' £8k title drink-up

JUBILANT Manchester United stars celebrated winning the Premiership title by racking up an £8,500 booze bill.

Winger CRISTIANO RONALDO, 22, and defender RIO FERDINAND, 28, led team-mates including midfielder PAUL SCHOLES, 32, as they partied at The Living Room in Manchester.

Most of the massive bar bill went on posh Cristal champagne.

Some players carried on the party at striker WAYNE ROONEY’s mansion in Prestbury, Cheshire.

A source said: “The lads had a great time - and even let some of the local girls join the party and enjoy the champers.

“They spent £8,500, which isn’t bad going. Some of them went on to Wayne’s - he’s got the most room at his place.”

Chelsea handed Man U the title on Sunday by failing to beat Arsenal.

After the win Oasis star NOEL GALLAGHER got a wind-up call from a pub full of Man U fans.

Primal Scream guitarist GARY “Mani” MOUNTFIELD, 44, called Manchester City fan Noel to gloat — then held his phone up as the fans chanted “Champions”.

A drinker in Heaton Moor, Gtr Manchester, said: “Mani was laughing. God knows what Noel made of it.”
