Joey's black 'n' blues 'bust-up'

ENGLAND soccer star Joey Barton was facing the sack last night after an alleged frenzied attack on a team-mate.

Ousmane Dabo, 30, needed hospital treatment after clashing with the midfielder at Manchester City’s training ground.

Barton, 24, is said to have clattered into the Frenchman in a tackle and the pair squared up.

Witnesses claimed Barton called Dabo a “f***ing pr**k” and launched a vicious assault before other players pulled them apart.

Manchester City boss Stuart Pearce suspended Barton until the end of the season and he is expected to be fined four weeks’ wages — £100,000.

Last night insiders said it was likely he would never play for City again.

Dabo was rushed to hospital with a suspected broken nose and cheekbone, but X-rays revealed there was no fracture.

A source said: “Joey completely lost it.”

Barton was previously fined by City after stubbing a cigar out in a youth player’s eye.

His brother and cousin are serving life for the axe murder of black teenager Anthony Walker.
