HERE’S a sure sign soccer king Roy Keane hasn’t let management success go to his head.

While other Premiership bosses were off sunning themselves on exotic holidays, the manager of promoted Sunderland was at his local hardware store in Hale, Cheshire.

The former Manchester United skipper, 35, left the shop called Viking clutching a bag. But he wasn’t tempted to net a football on offer.

An onlooker said: “Maybe he has had some DIY or cleaning to be catching up with.”
