Lampard is taking the pizza

FOOTIE ace Frank Lampard is to open a pizza parlour — with top chef Marco Pierre White and Derby-winning jockey Frankie Dettori.

The Chelsea star, 28, is joining forces with the duo to launch a branch of their Frankie’s chain at the club’s Stamford Bridge stadium.

It comes in the week jealous England fans — who have dubbed the midfielder “Fat Frank” — taunted him over his weight during England’s 1-1 friendly draw with Brazil.

Lampard — who weighs 12½ stone — said: “It’s upsetting but you have to be big enough to take that.”

But yesterday a pal defended him, saying: “Frank loves his pizza and pasta but he can afford to because he works damn hard in training and every time he plays. He thought this was a great opportunity to get into business with Frankie and Marco, who know their stuff.”
