Birthday cake auctioned on net

A SOUVENIR cake from Coleen McLoughlin’s birthday bash has turned up for sale on eBay.

One of the miniature cakes, iced with a picture of the WAG, was yesterday being advertised on the internet auction site with a reserve price of £5 plus £4 postal costs.

Coleen will be furious if it emerges that one of her mates is trying to make a few quid out of the event.

She was desperate to stop any of her old pals from Liverpool stepping out of line at the do. That is why she issued each of them the booklet about how to behave around stars.

The mystery seller claims on eBay that the cake had been mysteriously “found” outside the venue for the swish party.

The posting says: “This is an official cake from Coleen McLoughlin’s 21st birthday party. Was found right outside the place were the party was held. It has a coating of clear varnish to make sure it stays together.

“It has a beautiful picture of Coleen on the top. This is a rare, one-off find!!!!”

A tide of suspicion is expected to fall on Coleen’s old mates from Croxteth.

Guests were handed the cakes at the end of the celebration.

There had only been one bid last night, for £5.
